Such a great bike and a great price here at Crosslake. I am so happy with the bike. I recently took it out for a long tour trail ride, road ride, hills and flats and the bike was perfect-shifting is smooth, disc brakes are strong stoppers and the bike did not rattle and the feedback was similar to a rigid bike-as you have full adjustment on the shocks. I went out-of-saddle a few times and did not have any issue with the front end. The bikes construction is something that gives you an idea of the quality that Topeak mandates. The welds are thick and strong-the frame is very "cool" with the top tube shaped like a "V" for added strength without weight, the components are all top-notch, the shifting is smooth and responds quickly to input-no double press for 1 gear up or down-press once & have your gear. The only thing I would suggest is to get rid of the saddle even though it is a top-notch saddle, it is too small for my butt-the only things I changed were peddles and saddle. Obviously Topeak accessories will fit, but Jango accessories have the Jango logo-so get your bags and stuff from this place (the only dealer I found); for the rack, you can get a Topeak MTX series rack with the quick track/click feature and the bag will fit. Get one that is for disc brakes. The other thing Topeak thought about was the grips. These grips are very comfortable and help fatigue for long rides. I am so impressed with the bike, its construction, the quality of the components, the price and my buying experience from Crosslake that I am buying my wife the womens version and getting rid of her cruiser-so she can keep up with me on the rides around the Bay Area. They ship it to you shop ready-if you have an REI take it to them and they will build it for you. I however built my bike and it was very easy-the cables are run and I did not need to make any adjustments to the cables-just a little on the brakes. Get as many accessories as you can-the bag here is $59 and the same Topeak bag at REI is $99-so you get a break here. Plus you get the Jango logo/branding on the bag. What I have to find out is how to register the bike through Topeak. With the integrated lock on the front wheel, and the name plate that is included-you sign the name plate and perm install it on the front of the frame and register the bike with a registration card. If someone steals the bike, and contacts Topeak/Jango for a replacement key-they will tip their hand that the bike is stolen. Bottom line-awesome bike-well made-as good as any Cannondale, Raleigh, Bianchi, Marin etc. cross terrain or hybrid on the market-you can't do better than this bike until you get to the $1,500+ price range. Don't hesitate-buy this bike and accessories from Crosslake-you will be happy that you saved the money vs. something more expensive that is far inferior in regards to quality.
